Drums… Photography…

A good friend of mine is a drummer, and I was always captivated by his passion and energy when he played. It was infectious, and I knew that I wanted to experience that same sense of excitement and purpose. So I bought my drum kit and quickly discovered that my neighbors were not thrilled about my late-night practice sessions. I realized there might be better places for a drummer than living in an apartment. So I moved to a place where I could play without limitations, which was an absolute blast. Although I still love playing the drums, it was when I picked up a camera that I found my true passion: photography. Specifically, I found a strong interest in capturing the essence and nostalgia of classic cars and hot rods through my lens.

Why classic cars

Classic cars are not just vehicles; they are memories. They hold the stories of our past and the memories we are creating right now. They remind us of the car we had in high school or maybe our parents' car when we were kids. That is why photography and classic cars complement each other so well; they both serve to preserve memories for future generations to enjoy.

As I attend car events and see owners' passion and dedication to their classic rides, it's clear that these cars are more than just transportation. They are a reflection of the owner's personality and style. Moreover, the car community is incredibly welcoming, whether you're into hot rods, muscle cars, or low riders. We all share a common bond: our love and appreciation for these classic vehicles.

Why Old Custom Cars

Old Custom Cars is a website showcasing the best hot rods, customs, classic cars, and events on the West Coast. Whether you're a car enthusiast looking to attend an event or just curious about the culture, you'll find a wealth of information and stunning photography on Old Custom Cars.

One of the things that sets Old Custom Cars apart is instead of bombarding you with hundreds of photos; my goal is to curate a selection of 30-60 images that truly capture the essence of the event. This way, you can appreciate the cars and the event and not just scroll through a seemingly endless stream of photos.

I also strive to keep the written content concise and to the point. We live in a fast-paced world, and I understand that not everyone has the time to read a novel on a screen. So we designed Old Custom Cars to make it easy for you to enjoy the content, whether you're short on time or have plenty to spare.

So if you're looking for a website that celebrates hot rods, customs, classic cars, and the culture surrounding them, Old Custom Cars is the perfect destination. And if you made it this far reading this, thank you!

While my primary focus is on classic cars, hot rods, and photography, I also like to explore other areas of interest and share them with my audience. From time to time, you may find me sharing stories and photos of interesting places or experiences worth checking out, whether related to a car event or not.
